General Terms & Conditions of Trade

Quotations & Estimates

• All estimates are provided in good faith, based on the information you provide, and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
• If additional work is needed or extra materials are required (due to unforeseen circumstances), we will inform you and agree on costs before proceeding.

Bookings & Payment Terms

• Payment is due immediately on completion of the work unless agreed otherwise in writing.
• We accept cash, bank transfer, or card payments where possible.
• We reserve the right to charge late payment fees or interest on overdue accounts.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

• We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes to appointments.
• Missed appointments or short notice cancellations may be charged at our discretion to cover costs.

Workmanship Guarantee

• All work is carried out to a high standard using appropriate materials for the job.
• If you are unhappy with any part of our work, you must notify us within 7 days, and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve any issues.

Liability & Insurance

• Fix n Lift holds public liability insurance to cover accidental damage or injury caused by our work.
• We are not liable for pre-existing issues or any damage outside the agreed scope of work.
• We are not liable for any delays or costs due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. weather, supplier delays).

Materials & Waste

• Any leftover materials or waste will be removed where practical and unless otherwise agreed.
• Specialist disposal (e.g. hazardous waste) may incur additional costs, which will be discussed beforehand.

Governing Law

All works and agreements are subject to the laws of Scotland and any disputes will be handled by the Scottish courts.
